Hey everyone. In this quick video, I just wanted to show you how you could turn off autocorrect here on the iPhone.
Because autocorrect could be unpredictable, sometimes it’s better just to turn it off, so let me show you how to do that.
Let’s jump into our settings on our iPhone or iPad. So if you come down here, if you click general,
under that setting, you should see a keyboard option in the middle of the page. Let’s click keyboard.
And under keyboard, you should see all keyboards in the middle of the page, auto cap, auto correction, smart punctuation, shortcuts.
You could turn all these off. Auto correction is how you turn off the autocorrect,
and down here, predictive,
that is what is guessing the word that you’re typing out as you type it, so you could turn that on or off.
I usually have auto correction and predictive off,
so i don’t get unpredictable text, so now if i go back to my text and if i erase this and I type in autocorrect,
it’s not giving me any suggestions
and if i misspelled it, it stays misspelled, so this could be beneficial
or it could be a problem if you do a lot of misspelling, so it’s up to you if you
want to turn that off or on, but it’s under settings, under general and under keyboard.
And these are the options for your keyboard settings for auto correction. I hope you found this video useful. Please give it a like
and subscribe to this channel.
I post easy-to-follow tech tutorials just like this one five times a week and I hope to see you on the next video.
Thanks so much for watching.
